Traveling over a certain distance is one of the conditions by which a legal jurney is proved; consequently, culminates in shortening the prayers
and breaking the fast.
Although to travel eight Farsakh is the accepted criterion as a
well-known quotation among jurists, some other criteria could be found according to respective narrations. In this research I clarify and analyze
the given proves for different criteria of the legal distance, in order to find a conclusive proof by comparing and contrasting them.
