Profane singing is a mental-ideological question around which every Moslem individual has a controversial self-argument, in one hand he has; as an human being the tendency toward it, on the other hand, according to his ideological views he has to keep himself away from it regarding that it has been blamed in the religion.
Profane singing reinforces sin-doing tendency specially among the youth so it is a main cause to prevent one from virtues. On this basis, this article is going to make a distinction between the profane singing and the permitted one by a considerate study. On this connection, some Quranic verses as well as related views and traditions have been taken under notice.
