Abstract
In the corpus of Islamic teachings, human health is a multidimensional concept that is not confined to physical well-being alone; rather, it encompasses mental clarity, social reputation, religious belief, family structure, and economic condition. This article, drawing upon Qur’anic principles, Prophetic traditions, and jurisprudential analysis, seeks to articulate the right to comprehensive health protection of clients in relation to public officials. It argues that within administrative and governmental systems, authorities bear religious, ethical, and legal responsibility for safeguarding the holistic well-being of those who engage with them.
The research adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, based on authoritative sources in Islamic jurisprudence, exegesis, and narrations. The findings indicate that any negligence or harmful conduct on the part of officials—even in the form of verbal mistreatment, disregard, or lack of oversight—can lead to the violation of one or more dimensions of a client's well-being, thereby rendering the official liable and accountable. Ultimately, the article concludes that preserving the comprehensive health of clients is not only a jurisprudential and legal obligation but also a divine duty tied to the safeguarding of human dignity.
