Abstract

The rule of "AL-IBRAH BI UMUM AL-LAFZDI LAA BI KHUSUS SABAB" is one of the rules (Qawaed) of Usul that is accepted by the majority of jurists. According to this rule, if a Shari'a ruling is issued generally or unconditionally on a Singular or particular case, the ruling is generalized from that case to other cases like that. However, there are some opinions else in this regard. This study has been conducted, using a descriptive-analytical method. In this paper, after explaining the existing statements in this regard, the various aspects of this subject are studied. The results of the study indicate that if the ruling issued on a Singular or particular case is general (Eam), the ruling is generalized, but if the ruling issued is unconditional (Mutlaq), the ruling is assigned to the case.
